Well look no further than your own Town Centre and Riverside area, as Tewkesbury’s Big Weekend returns and looks to be a fantastic family weekend out!

The main events include:

A Walking Parade leaving Sun Street on Saturday at 3.30pm This year’s theme is ‘The 70’s’, follow the route from Sun Street, down the High Street, into Church Street and then along Gander Lane to the Vineyards.

Cheltenham Animal Shelter Dog Show on Saturday at 10.30am on The Vineyards… There will be craft stalls, hot & cold food, ice creams & attractions along side a whole day of dog show categories

A River Parade on Sunday 12.00

Katakanu Boat Racing – Sunday

Street entertainers – all weekend

Boat trips – all weekend

Children’s Fairground rides – Riverside.

Picnic in the Park at Victoria Gardens on Sunday 18th May opens 12:00 Midday – 

Refreshment stall selling tea, coffee, cold drinks, cakes, scones, ice creams and of course the live music entertainment and plant stall.
