This spectacular event will take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend in one of England’s most delightful and oldest Saxon churches, The Priory Church of St Mary nestling by the River Severn in the village of Deerhurst. The historic church will be transformed into a glorious, fragrant and colourful living art gallery with vibrant floral displays depicting the theme for 2024 – The Big Read.
Refreshments: Hot and cold refreshments including delicious home baked cakes are served all day on the Priory Lawn along with a selection of craft, charity and local stalls to browse over. The BBQ will be open from 12pm to 2pm and Odda’s Bar from 12pm to 5pm.
Art Exhibition: The well established Art and Craft Exhibition takes place in nearby Odda’s Chapel, with many local artists exhibiting.
Entertainment: The Glos Folk Information Stand will be on The Priory Lawn all weekend – Peter Cripps and friends will provide suitable background music in between other entertainments.
Date and Times: Saturday 24th to Monday 26th August 10am-5pm each day
Admission: £8 for adults (under 16s free)
